Learning to Let Go

Jesus heard this and His response was:

“Fear is useless; what is needed is trust …”

                                                 Luke 8:50

How have the headlines been affecting you lately?

  • Gas prices near $3 / gallon with no relief in sight

  • Uncertainty about Iran and its nuclear program

  • Interest rates have been on the increase creating financial stress for many families as mortgage and credit card rates increase

  • Job layoffs continue

It is very easy to get caught up in these headlines and worry about the future. But the words from Jesus we hear in Luke tell us the exact opposite – do not fear, trust in Me!

How hard it is to place our trust in God even though He has promised us abundance when we follow His financial rules as described in detail in The Biblical Guide To Internet Riches.

It is often difficult to place our trust in God because it means we have to let go and let God lead and direct us. We want to trust in the abundance promised to us in the Bible, yet there is something in us that holds us back – do we really believe God will bless us?

I recently had to get my fingerprints taken for my job. I went to the police station to have that done. When the policeman took my hand he said to relax and let him move my hand and fingers. It is amazing how much mental effort it took to let my hand relax and let someone else take control of it.

If something like letting somebody take your fingerprints takes so much effort to let go, how much more difficult is it for us to let God take control of our lives? Yes, it is much easier said than done.

I have 2 recommendations though how to let God take control of our lives.

First, DO SOMETHING!!!! Yes this may sound like the opposite of what I just said. But nowhere in the Bible is there any mention of just sitting back and having blessings fall in our lap. The blessings we receive are as a result of our Faith and following God’s plan. The miracles from the Bible described in The Biblical Guide To Internet Riches are excellent example of people who took action to obtain the blessings they desired.

Start taking the steps you need to build your internet based home business. Do your homework following the steps in The Biblical Guide To Internet Riches. For example, there will be times when you will need to make decisions.

Here is a technique you will learn in this book. Before you go to bed at night, send your question to God with the options you are considering in the form prayer asking God for guidance. When you wake up in the morning go through the options mentally in your mind See which one gives you the greatest level of confidence and peace. This is the option you need to follow!

It is absolutely amazing how purposeful action gives you confidence and calms your fears.

The second recommendation is to spend time reading the Bible for guidance and comfort. Do this everyday and you will find the inner peace and confidence you need to keep a positive attitude in everything you do.

Don’t let the news you hear and read every day get you down. Use them as motivation to spur you to greatness by building the home business you have dreamed about. Think about this. Do the wealthy stay up late worrying about gasoline prices or credit card rates? Of course not! And neither will you when you live the life of abundance that will be yours when you achieve Success His Way!

Finally, heed the advice of St Paul in his letter to the Philippians 4:8 where he tells us:

“Finally, my brothers, your thoughts should be wholly directed to all that is true, all that deserves respect, all that is honest, pure admirable, decent, virtuous or worthy of praise.”

To Success His Way,

Mark
